# Research at MAS Lab

MAS Lab develops multimodal acoustic systems that bridge biomedical imaging, radiation science, and computational imaging. Our central question is simple: how can energy deposition and acoustic propagation be converted into reliable, quantitative information about biological systems?

04 · PRECLINICAL & TRANSLATIONAL APPLICATIONS

Biomedical Monitoring & Acoustic Stimulation

We engineer and apply imaging and acoustic-stimulation protocols to quantify cerebrovascular and fluid dynamics, oncology, pharmacokinetics, disease progression, treatment response, neuromodulation, and rehabilitation outcomes. The aim is not only to make images or deliver stimulation, but to optimize physical parameters and derive repeatable biomarkers of biological response.
